Troubleshooting

Something not working? Let’s fix it.


First message requires replying “YES” to confirm. If you didn’t, text “YES” now.

Free tier has limited messages per month. Check your dashboard to see usage.

SMS can be delayed by carriers. Wait a few minutes and try again.

Some phones block unknown numbers by default. Check your SMS settings.

Make sure your timezone is set correctly:

What reminders do I have?

If it’s not listed, it wasn’t created successfully. Try setting it again.

Some phones filter “unknown” senders. Check your SMS app settings.

If you said “remind me at 3pm” but you’re in a different timezone than you set, the reminder will arrive at the wrong time.


Check 1: Is calendar connected? Visit app.textfigaro.com → Integrations to verify.

Check 2: Primary calendar only Figaro reads your primary Google Calendar. Events on secondary calendars won’t appear.

Check 3: Reconnect

Re-authorize to refresh the connection.

Check 2: Check the response Figaro will confirm what was created. If no confirmation, it didn’t work.


Check 1: List name matching If you have “Groceries” and say “add milk to grocery list” — both should work. But if it’s not matching, try:

This shows all your lists so you can use the exact name.


Check 1: Is it enabled?

Check 2: Timezone

If your timezone is wrong, the briefing arrives at the wrong time.

Check 3: Location for weather Weather requires location:

Calendar must be connected:

Connect my calendar

Check 1: Correct phone number Use the same phone number you text Figaro from, including country code.

Check 2: Check for verification code The code comes via SMS. Make sure it’s arriving.

Check 3: Code expired Codes expire after a few minutes. Request a new one.

Linking accounts: From Telegram, text:

Link my phone number 555-123-4567

Enter the verification code sent to that phone number.
