Troubleshooting

Figaro Won’t Respond
Section titled “Figaro Won’t Respond”Check 1: Did you opt in?
Section titled “Check 1: Did you opt in?”First message requires replying “YES” to confirm. If you didn’t, text “YES” now.
Check 2: Message limit
Section titled “Check 2: Message limit”Free tier has limited messages per month. Check your dashboard to see usage.
Check 3: Network issues
Section titled “Check 3: Network issues”SMS can be delayed by carriers. Wait a few minutes and try again.
Check 4: Blocked numbers
Section titled “Check 4: Blocked numbers”Some phones block unknown numbers by default. Check your SMS settings.

Reminders Not Arriving
Section titled “Reminders Not Arriving”Check 1: Timezone
Section titled “Check 1: Timezone”Make sure your timezone is set correctly:

Section titled “Check 2: Verify reminder exists”What reminders do I have?If it’s not listed, it wasn’t created successfully. Try setting it again.
Check 3: Phone not blocking messages
Section titled “Check 3: Phone not blocking messages”Some phones filter “unknown” senders. Check your SMS app settings.
Check 4: Check the time
Section titled “Check 4: Check the time”If you said “remind me at 3pm” but you’re in a different timezone than you set, the reminder will arrive at the wrong time.
Calendar Issues
Section titled “Calendar Issues”Not seeing events
Section titled “Not seeing events”Check 1: Is calendar connected? Visit app.textfigaro.com → Integrations to verify.
Check 2: Primary calendar only Figaro reads your primary Google Calendar. Events on secondary calendars won’t appear.
Check 3: Reconnect
Connect my calendarRe-authorize to refresh the connection.
Can’t create events
Section titled “Can’t create events”Check 1: Be specific about time
✅ Schedule meeting tomorrow at 2pm
❌ Schedule meeting tomorrow afternoon
Check 2: Check the response Figaro will confirm what was created. If no confirmation, it didn’t work.
Lists Not Working
Section titled “Lists Not Working”Items not adding
Section titled “Items not adding”Check 1: List name matching If you have “Groceries” and say “add milk to grocery list” — both should work. But if it’s not matching, try:

What lists do I have?This shows all your lists so you can use the exact name.
Daily Briefing Issues

Section titled “Can’t log into dashboard”Check 1: Correct phone number Use the same phone number you text Figaro from, including country code.
Check 2: Check for verification code The code comes via SMS. Make sure it’s arriving.
Check 3: Code expired Codes expire after a few minutes. Request a new one.
Telegram account issues
Section titled “Telegram account issues”Linking accounts: From Telegram, text:
